The Landscape Connection will be holding its 1st annual “Car Show” to benefit Rockhouse Kids. Included in the show will be cars of every kind: Antiques, Classics, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Special Interest cars of all types and sizes. This fun filled event will include music from the 1950s through the 1980s, raffles, door prizes, and great food will make this day one to be remembered. Our “Car Show” is open to all who enjoy cars and a good time.

If you have a car you would like to enter Registration Fees are as Follows:
$8.00 Pre-registration before August 5th
$10 Day of the Show

Have you ever wanted to learn about leaf casting?

Leaf castings are a wonderful way to add a natural and organic element to your yard, gardens, or home.

This two-hour workshop will teach you everything you need to know about how to prepare your leaf, mix the concrete medium, and mold a natural leaf sculpture to use inside or use outside your home. You will learn how to preserve leaves in this hands-on class using a concrete casting, a process that creates cement molds from leaves. The natural depression and veins of the leaf are captured in amazing detail and you will be left with your very own creation of nature to display.

Leaves will be provided or you may bring your own large size leaf. If you are bringing your own leaf for this workshop, please keep in mind that a leaf with a large surface area works best. Hostas and elephant ears are perfect examples.
